Mass. woman killed in stabbing will be ‘missed more than words can ever say’

A 31-year-old Dartmouth woman killed in a stabbing in New Bedford last week was remembered in her obituary for her smile, which could “light up any room.”

Kerri Fidalgo was found with stab wounds inside her apartment at 86 Atlantic St. in New Bedford on Sept. 20. Tyler Dow Baglini, of Dartmouth, is facing a murder charge in connection with Fidalgo’s death.

In her obituary, Fidalgo’s family described her as a “people person” who made friends wherever she went. Fidalgo went to Nichols College after graduating high school and got a degree in business administration.
