A woman is expected to appear in Lynn District Court on Friday in connection with a fire at a Swampscott condominium last week, State Fire Marshal Jon M. Davine’s office announced.
Leda Nery, 41, was arrested on Thursday, Davine’s office said in a statement. She faces one count of arson of a dwelling following a joint investigation into a fire at 1 Loring Ave. early on Oct. 3.
“An early morning fire in a multi-unit residential building is a recipe for disaster,” said Swampscott Fire Chief Graham Archer in the statement.
