The final $1 million prize for the scratch ticket game “Double your Money” was claimed in Massachusetts Monday.
The ticket was purchased at Rx3 Energy in Salem. There was a 1 in 3,024,000 odds in winning the grand prize and it was the final grand prize ticket. However, there are still six unclaimed $2,000 prize winning tickets left.
It wasn’t the only large prize won or claimed Monday.
A $100,000 prize from the game “$15,000,000 Money Maker” was claimed from Step By Step Convenience in Fall River. And another $100,000 prize was claimed from the game “300X.” It was sold at Mattapoisett Food in Mattapoisett.
Overall, at least 800 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 23 in Springfield, 28 in Worcester and 66 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
So far, the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $15 million. The prize was from the lottery’s “300X” scratch ticket game, and was claimed on June 13.
