A search for an armed home invasion suspect concluded with his arrest by Medford police on Thursday, the police department said.
On Thursday afternoon, Medford police announced that they were looking for Anderson Otoni-Nascimento, 31, who was suspected of a home invasion, NBC 10 Boston reported. He was considered armed and dangerous.
While details on the incident were not immediately available, police located and arrested Otoni-Nascimento, the news station wrote.
“We extend our thanks to everyone who shared this post, particularly the Brazilian community, whose support was instrumental in ensuring Otoni-Nascimento’s capture,” Medford police said in a short statement on Facebook.
