A 76-year-old Seekonk man was killed Thursday afternoon in Taunton when he and another bicyclist were struck by a motor vehicle while riding along North Walker Street, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III’s office said in a statement.
The man killed was identified as Donald MacManus.
MacManus was riding his bike along North Walker Street with a 72-year-old Attleboro man, when they were hit by a 2009 Mercedes Benz being driven by a 62-year-old Mansfield man around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Quinn’s office.
