A Massachusetts man is facing multiple charges after a crash in a Dunkin’ drive-thru Tuesday.
The Cohasset Police Department said a pick-up truck hit another vehicle in the drive-thru. As the truck remained in gear and the tires were spinning, people began calling 911. The police department said people reported the pick-up truck driver was having a seizure.
Bystanders were able to put the pick-up truck in park, police said. Officers began giving emergency aid to the driver, later identified as Alex Neumeier, 28, of Halifax. That’s when police asid they found a crack pipe and other drug paraphernalia around the driver.
The 28-year-old was taken to South Shore Hospital.
Officials said they found a “large amount of white powder, thought to be cocaine, inside the truck.”
Neumeier was arrested and charged with trafficking in class B drugs over 100 grams, OUI — drugs and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
