A Canton man was found guilty Monday of fatally shooting a 15-year-old in Dorchester in 2022, prosecutors announced.
Zontre Mack, 21, was convicted of first-degree murder. He will be sentenced on Oct. 23, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden’s office said in a statement.
Another man, Dominick Gavin, 27, of Boston, pleaded guilty to a charge of accessory after the fact on Aug. 20. He was sentenced to three to four years in prison.
