Mass. man arrested in connection with September stabbing

Police arrested a 45-year-old man on Tuesday in connection with a stabbing in Roxbury in late September that left a person with life-threatening injuries.

Brima Wurie, of Boston, is charged with assault & battery with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault to murder while armed and assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, Boston Police wrote in a statement. Wurie was taken into police custody at around 2:14 p.m. Tuesday at 307 Huntington Ave.

The charges against Wurie are tied to a stabbing at the intersection of Lambert Avenue and Kenilworth Street in Roxbury on Sept. 30. The person Wurie is accused of stabbing drove themself to Boston Medical Center in the South End, where they crashed their car, police said previously.
