A female student at Brookline High School was assaulted by a man she did not know while she walked between classes Monday afternoon, school officials and police said in a joint statement.
The assault happened around 1 p.m. on Monday as the student was walking between buildings at the high school on Tappan Street, Superintendent Linus Guillory Jr. and Police Chief Jennifer Paster said in the statement.
Brookline Police Deputy Superintendent Paul Campbell told WCVB-TV a man reached his hand down the girl’s pants as they walked by one another.
