A bicyclist was seriously injured Thursday after being involved in a crash with a dump truck in Orleans.
Around 3:30 p.m., a male on a bicycle and a 2008 Isuzu Dump Truck collided at the intersection near Rock Harbor Road, the Orleans Police Department said in a press release on Facebook.
The bicyclist was taken by helicopter to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Officials did not have any further information on his condition. The driver of the dump truck remained on the scene.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information to call 508-255-0117.
