
A man was struck and gravely injured while crossing the street in Boston early Monday morning.
The incident happened at around 12:24 a.m. on Monday, in the area of 766 Hyde Park Ave., according to the Boston Police Department.
A man had been crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle. He had life-threatening injuries from the crash, and was brought to the hospital.
No further information on his condition was immediately available as of 7 a.m. on Monday.
The driver who struck him remained at the scene, the department said. The incident is under investigation by members of the department Homicide Fatal team.
