A man was fatally shot overnight in Roxbury, according to the Boston Police Department.
Boston police officers went to an area of Hammond Street in Roxbury at around 1:35 a.m. Tuesday. Arriving officers found a man who had been shot, said Sgt. Detective John Boyle, a spokesman for Boston Police.
Responding officers made full notifications, handing the investigation off to the department’s homicide unit.
