A 24-year-old man was shot and killed Monday night in Lowell, according to the Middlesex County district attorney’s office.
Lowell police went to the area of Middlesex and Maude streets just before 8 p.m. Monday night, where they found a man with gunshot wounds. The 24-year-old man, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement.
The man’s death remains under investigation by the district attorney’s office and Lowell Police.
