Man arrested in connection with fatal shooting of teen at Mass. mobile home

An 18-year-old from Randolph is facing a murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of a Taunton teenager inside a mobile home earlier this month, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.

Kareem Gendraw was arrested by members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Apprehension Section around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced. Gendraw is expected to be arraigned on the murder charge and a charge of carrying an illegal firearm in Taunton District Court on Wednesday.

At around 12:25 a.m. on Sept. 19, Taunton Police learned of a person shot inside a mobile home at 351 Lothrop St. First responders found Khamitri Cole, 17, of Brockton with gunshot wounds, and declared him dead at the scene.
