In an effort to cut costs, Ludlow is considering asking neighboring communities if they want to consolidate their trash disposal operations and create a regional system for handling waste.
Ludlow Town Administrator Marc Strange said the idea of partnering up with nearby communities is in its early stages and the town isn’t in current talks with its neighbors.
