At the inaugural “Open Stage Showcase,” seven local artists and bands took to the stage at the brand-new Holyoke Media Facility to show off their musical talents to the Western Mass. community.
The showcase is the result of a partnership between the facility and New Music Alliance, a nonprofit organization in Western Massachusetts whose goal is to help promote the careers of local musicians who write original music. The Alliance helps artists get their music on the radio with their New Music Alliance Radio Hour, which can be found on nine different stations on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
