Leverett author’s new book ‘Wind Watchers’ captures wonder of nature for kids

Whether the wind is turning pages of a book Micha Archer is reading at home in Leverett or breezing through her writing studio in Costa Rica, this invisible force follows her around the world and is the force behind “Wind Watchers,” her new children’s book.

“I think of it as one wind, but it could be many that all do different things, like a moody person,” said Archer during a conversation with The Republican from her cabin at the base of Cerro Chirripó, the highest mountain in the South American nation.
