ARLINGTON, Texas — Kutter Crawford made baseball history Friday. But it wasn’t the kind of history he wanted to make.
Crawford was tagged for four homers by the Texas Rangers, giving him 12 homers allowed in his last three starts. No pitcher in modern history has ever allowed that many in the stretch of three outings before. Previously, he had given up five to the Dodgers on July 21, then surrendered three more to the Yankees in his next start last weekend.
