The No. 2 King Philip Warriors are set to take on the top-ranked Catholic Memorial Knights in the MIAA Division II title game at Gillette Stadium on Thursday.
The Warriors are aiming for back-to-back championships after their dominant 42-14 victory over Marshfield in last year’s title game. King Philip earned its spot in the finals with playoff wins over Arlington, Barnstable, and Marshfield. Since the postseason format change in 2013, the Warriors have claimed three Div. II state titles.
