HOLYOKE – bankESB won just four games during the Tri County Baseball League regular season. After posting a series-clinching 2-0 win over the Chicopee Falls Tigers in the decisive game of their best-of-3 series Monday night at Holyoke Community College, bankESB climbed within one win of matching that mark in just four games this postseason.
For fans of Westfield High School baseball, it was a familiar sight as former Bombers pitcher Josh Mayo tossed a complete game five-hitter, and catcher Jacob Wagner went 2-for-3 with a double, run scored, and an RBI.
