AGAWAM — Despite the No. 11 Agawam football team trailing No. 19 Chicopee Comp before halftime, Brownies coach John Benjamin remained confident in his team’s capabilities.
“We told the guys what they had to do in the second half,” said Benjamin of his halftime speech. “Chicopee Comp was playing hard and punching us in the mouth on offense. So we had to fix some things on special teams because we gave them a short field every time.”
