Joe Burrow, who spoke to the media for the first time since suffering a calf injury in July, revealed he’s been staying in touch with Brady.
“We’ve stayed in contact,” Burrow told reporters on Wednesday. “He’s helped me some, definitely has. I think that’s what all the great quarterbacks do across time. They continue to help the young guys, impart knowledge on them so that they can be their best selves. I’m appreciative to him for that.”
Since retiring for good in February, Brady has still been around the game of football. He bought a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, was seen at their preseason finale and will begin a new role with FOX in 2024 as their lead analyst.
Brady has also been helping Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who called the 46-year-old a “great mentor.”

While what Brady did over the course of his 23-year run in the NFL will be incredibly difficult to match, getting advice from someone of his caliber certainly won’t hurt.
