WEST SPRINGFIELD — No. 2 Minnechaug was on the verge of falling apart multiple times this season.
At one point, the team went into a regular season game without eight starters because of injury or illness, pushing the team to start freshmen in their place. In between it all, the program went through two separate four-game losing streaks.
