Islam Makhachev massive favorite over Dustin Poirier at UFC 302

UFC returns with UFC 302 on Saturday night from Prudential Center in New Jersey.

Dustin Poirier will get another chance to hoist undisputed UFC lightweight title when he enters the ring against reigning champion Islam Makhachev. Poirier does have some momentum on his side after coming off a second-round stoppage win over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 299.

But Makhachev comes into UFC 302 with a 13-fight win streak and is patient on his feet. Many sportsbooks have Makhachev as the massive favorite over Poirier, giving the latter a chance at a big upset that will only further his legacy in fighting.

Below are some odds as of Thursday night for Saturday’s UFC 203.

DraftKings: Makhachev moneyline: -650, Poirier moneyline: +470

Total rounds: over/under 2.5 — Under (+140), Over (-180)

FanDuel: Makhachev moneyline: -670, Poirier moneyline: +430

Total rounds: over/under 1.5 — Under (+130), Over (-166)

BetMGM: Makhachev moneyline: -600, Poirier moneyline: +425

Total rounds: over/under 1.5 — Under (+120), Over (-160)
