Industrial connector road in Southwick will have to wait for gravel pit closure

SOUTHWICK — While a couple of years away, the town’s planned project to connect Sam West Road to Hudson Drive to provide a second access to the town’s industrial corridor continues.

“It will probably be sitting on the shelf for a little bit,” said Public Works Director Randy Brown about the engineering and design plan for the connector being developed by Fuss & O’Neill, a Connecticut-based engineering and architectural firm.
