When Boston Mayor Michelle Wu testified before Congress earlier this month, one of the points she made while defending the city was that Boston had added “the most affordable housing built in a generation.”
It’s a claim the mayor has made on multiple occasions before and since. And as people across the city struggle to afford the high cost of living, it’s an issue that’s set to play a big role in the 2025 mayoral race.
