How to watch the NFL Hall of Fame Ceremony free live stream today

There are four men who will be recognized and honored at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 2 at Tom Ben Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio as Eric Allen, Jared Allen, Antonio Gates and Sterling Sharpe will all be inducted.

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ESPN and NFL Network. Fans looking to watch can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. Eric Allen was a six-time Pro Bowler and made one First Team All-Pro, the second year of his career, when he had eight interceptions. He played with the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders, and for his career, he had 54 picks, eight of which were returned for touchdowns. In 1993 he had four pick-sixes, and in 2000, his penultimate season, he had three, both of which were league-leading marks. He also forced six fumbles, recovered seven, and returned one for a score.

Jared Allen posted 136 career sacks across a 12-year career that was spent predominately as a Minnesota Viking and Kansas City Chief. He led the league in sacks tice, collecting 22 in 2011 and finishing second in Defensive Player of the Year voting. Allen also managed to get six interceptions, one which was returned for a touchdown, forced 32 fumbles and recovered 19, one of which was for a score, while also setting the league record with four safeties.

Gates will have the recognition of being the first player enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame without ever playing college football. In 16 years, all with the Chargers, Gates was a three-time First Team All-Pro and eight time Pro Bowler who caught the most touchdown passes all-time for a tight end with 116, which is seventh all time. He also had 955 receptions for 11,841 receiving yards.

Sharpe will be joining his brother Shannon in the HAll of Fame, making them the first brothers to each earn that honor. Sharpe spent his entire seven-year career with the Green Bay Packers and led the NFL in receptions three times, twice in his last three seasons, and he also led the league in touchdowns twice, both instances in his last three seasons, and in 1992, he led the league in touchdowns, receptions and receiving yards with 108 grabs for 1,461 yards and 13 scores. His final season he led the league with 18 receiving touchdowns.
