CBS will air a 1-hour special this Wednesday, July 26 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT titled “Big Brother: 25th Anniversary Celebration,” set to air one week ahead of the newest season premiere of the series on Wednesday, Aug. 2.
For those without cable who want to watch the special, they can do so for free through either FuboTV and DirecTV. Both platforms offer a free trial for new users. Those interested in watching the special can also watch it for free by signing up for Paramount+, which offers a 7-day-long free trial.
The special is presented by Entertainment Tonight (ET) and is hosted by Nischelle Turner, according to Paramount, adding it will feature 24 seasons’ worth of archival footage from the ET vault and exclusive interviews with “Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves and several past winners and fan-favorite players.
These include the likes of Cody Calafiore, Taylor Hale, Derrick Levasseur, Xavier Prather and Rachel Reilly as well as Azah Awasum, Hannah Chaddha, Derek Frazier, Frankie Grande, Tiffany Mitchell, Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha, among others, Paramount stated.
“The special looks at the most notable ‘Big Brother’ highlights over the years, including the showmances, biggest feuds and rivalries, shocking twists, historic houseguests and groundbreaking moments in reality TV history,” Paramount said.
Viewers who tune in will also get “an exclusive sneak peek” of the “Big Brother” house for the upcoming season — which starts next week — and may be able to spot clues about what this summer’s big twist is, Paramount added.
