Holyoke superintendent explains why city’s schools can’t overcome segregation on their own

HOLYOKE — The top school official in Holyoke says the district already is using recommendations of a new report that found racial segregation to be widespread and detrimental in schools. But Holyoke can’t solve this problem by itself, said Holyoke Superintendent Anthony Soto.
