Holyoke Country Club hit with $19,000 fine for failing environmental standards

HOLYOKE — The Holyoke Country Club was tagged again with a hefty fine by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection for violating air pollution controls and storage tank regulations, sidelining environmental safety.

ES Golf Corp., operating as the club, was cited for not installing a fuel vapor recovery system, skipping required inspections, and lacking set-aside funds to cover the cost of addressing an accidental release of fuel.
