SPRINGFIELD — Cheryl Coakley-Rivera, a Democrat who is nearing the end of her first term as Hampden County Register of Deeds, is facing a challenger in Bob Collamore, who is running as an independent.
The Register of Deeds maintains land records in the county, and it is one of the contested local races voters will decide on Nov. 5.
