Another rainy day is on tap for Massachusetts on Friday, and the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby, now a tropical depression, bring a chance of excessive rainfall in the western part of the state.
National Weather Service forecasters say the storm’s remnants will bring pockets of heavy rain, but little chance of severe weather in the interior of southern New England.
“Other than a period of light to moderate rains Friday night into Saturday morning, little to no impacts are expected for Eastern [Massachusetts],” forecasters wrote.
