Six weeks after Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi’s arrest outside of the MGM Springfield casino on a drunken driving charge, he sat down with a TV station for an interview.
“As the sheriff of Hampden County, but more importantly, as the person Nick Cocchi, there’s no question, six weeks ago was not one of my finest moments,” Cocchi told Western Mass News during an interview that aired Wednesday night.
Since his arrest, the sheriff said he has been the first to address the subject at event appearances.
