
A task force mandated with delivering recommendations to make child care more accessible in the state will be holding 12 listening sessions this summer to hear the status of child care and insights into the issue directly from residents.
“We will learn about the unique challenges and strengths (of each region) so that we can respond most effectively,” said Amy Kershaw, the state’s early education and care commissioner. “And we would imagine there will be common themes that emerge as well.”
