A good Samaritan helped a woman out of her overturned car after it crashed in a cranberry bog early Thursday morning.
The Wareham Police Department said Alisha McGough, 31, of Wareham, had been drinking prior to the crash. Just after 12 a.m. Thursday, McGough crashed on Maple Springs Road, which left her car overturned and submersed in water in a cranberry bog, police said.
When officials arrived, a good Samaritan was helping McGough get out of the car.
Police shared photos of the car overturned and in the water.
McGough was charged with operating under the influence (OUI) alcohol and negligent operation. She will be arraigned at Wareham District Court on Friday, Nov. 24.
