The spookiest month of television is back with Freeform’s annual Halloween movie marathon.
Halloween and movie lovers alike can catch the Sanderson sisters, the Ghostbusters and more creatures of the night in the network’s “31 Nights of Halloween.” The special airs every year for the month and concludes on Halloween night.
Viewers without access to cable can stream Freeform on fuboTV. The platform offers a free trial for new users. DirecTV offers the same free stream trial as well.
The programming kicked off on Oct. 1 with spooky Halloween classics like “Halloweentown,” “The Haunted Mansion,” and “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
More highlights expected to air this season are films like “Twitches,” “Hocus Pocus,” “The Addams Family” and more.
The specials will also be regularly replayed throughout the month if viewers can’t watch certain times.
“Over the last 25 years, our viewers have grown up with ‘31 Nights of Halloween’ as a time-honored tradition to watch Halloween favorites and connect with their loved ones during this special time of the season,” said Simran Sethi, EVP of programming and content strategy, ABC Entertainment and Freeform. “There’s something sentimental about these holiday classics that brings a real sense of comfort and nostalgia to people, and we look forward to celebrating this anniversary with another spirited lineup.”
