WESTWOOD — It was raining threes in the Xaverian gym on Friday as the Fontbonne girls’ basketball team played Malden Catholic in a Catholic Conference game.
According to Fontbonne’s assistant coach, between the two teams, there were 22 made 3-pointers in Fontbonne’s eventual 79-53 win, the highest-scoring affair for Fontbonne in at least the past four years. The Ducks most recent 70-point game was a 73-point performance in Dec. 2023.
