Flood warning affecting Berkshire County until Thursday afternoon

On Wednesday at 9:24 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a flood warning valid from 10 p.m. until Thursday 1 p.m. for Berkshire County.

The weather service states, “Moderate flooding is forecast for Hoosic River at Williamstown.”

“At 9.0 feet, Flood stage. At 10.0 feet, Water covers the lowest portions of Cole Field. At 11.0 feet, Most of Cole Field is inundated, as well as the portion of Stetson Road that runs along Cole Field,” describes the weather service.
