A wildfire in Northampton that has burned for three days has been declared contained by fire officials, and crews are working to extinguish it completely.
Northampton Deputy Fire Chief Matthew Lemberg said Sunday morning that firefighters from as many as 12 communities closed fire lines around the blaze in the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area late Saturday, and overnight those lines held.
