PALMER – The Palmer High School softball team took advantage of several Southwick miscues to run away with a 19-7 win in six innings Monday.
Southwick started off with a hot bat, smashing a pair of extra base hits and scoring three runs in the top of the first inning. Angelina Wynglarz, who smashed a grand slam in an 18-16 win over Smith Academy on April 22, belted a run-scoring double and Jess Longhi hit a blistering RBI triple down the third base line.
