WESTFIELD – It’s not often that a call-up makes an impact, but that is exactly what happened on Thursday.
Newly acquired eighth grader, Thanishka Cordero scored a pair of first half goals and assisted on two others to lead the Ware High School girls soccer team past St. Mary’s, 4-0, Thursday at Western Intermediate School on Southampton Road.
