SOUTHWICK – The Economic Development Commission discussed a full agenda during its meeting last week and included a proposal to hold a new event this spring and summer to beautify the town with flowers.
“We’re in a position to shine more than other towns that aren’t so agricultural,” said Diane Samuelson, the wife of EDC member Craig Samuelson, while she was proposing have a beautiful flower-growing competition she calls Southwick in Bloom.
