A kiteboarder at a beach on Cape Cod died after they were pulled from the water on Saturday morning.
It was around 9:45 a.m. when first responders got to First Encounter Beach for a report of an unconscious person, whom bystanders were performing CPR on, the Eastham Police Department said.
The person was still in the water with bystanders when the police officers and firefighters got to the scene. The officials swam out to them and took over CPR, police said.
