CHESTER — Three local task forces addressing domestic violence in Western and Central Massachusetts are exploring joining forces in an effort to better help rural residents facing domestic violence get support.
The Southern Hilltown Domestic Violence Task Force, based in nine rural towns, is working on an initiative to create the “Rural Network to End Domestic Violence,” by partnering with two other existing groups: Ware River Valley Domestic Violence Task Force and Gardner Domestic Violence Task Force.
