WESTFIELD — Developers are proposing a “contractor’s shop” on Southampton Road that would provide office space for small businesses.
“The goal is to entice small businesses to come to town and to have a place to set up shop. Quite honestly, it’s very difficult. Small business spaces that have some office and bathroom and storage are just very difficult to come by,” said Todd Cellura, owner of applicant Sovereign Builders, at the Planning Board’s June 4 meeting.
