The death of an infant child in Leominster earlier this month is under investigation, according to a spokesperson for Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.’s office.
The child, a 4-month-old, died on May 14, the spokesperson, Lindsay Corcoran, said in a brief statement to MassLive Tuesday morning.
Corcoran did not provide the child’s name and did not respond when asked by MassLive if investigators believed the 4-month-old’s death was suspicious.
The state Department of Children and Families could not immediately be reached for comment on the infant’s death early Tuesday morning.
