Injuries are starting to take center stage at UEFA Euro 2024 as Croatia are now down a man with midfielder Nikola Vlasic withdrawing from the tournament due to a muscle injury.

Vlasic entered the tournament banged up, but sustained a new injury in training that forced him out of the competition.

In addition to Vlasic, France’s Kylian Mbappé suffered a broken nose in his squad’s opening match victory over Austria.

It is not clear when or if France’s captain will return, but it is expected he will wear a mask if he does take the pitch again this tournament.
