Creating one of the only coffee shops in Florence: ‘I wanted to do it for the community’

Michele Ruschhaupt opened The Zen Frog to allow Florence residents to create community and have a meeting space.

“I’m in a very lucky position to not have to have the business; I really just wanted to do it for the community,” said Ruschhaupt, owner of The Zen Frog, which opened on July 6. “So we can have a nice place to congregate.”
