BOSTON — When Craig Breslow was hired last fall as the Red Sox’ chief baseball officer, he indicated he would like to hire a general manager for his front office staff.
At the time, he said he didn’t have a timetable for the hiring. But on Friday, Breslow revealed such a move probably won’t be made before the end of the 2024 season.
