‘Cirque Musica: Holiday Wonderland’ coming to Springfield this December, tickets on sale this week

“Cirque Musica: Holiday Wonderland,” an all-new holiday performance event meant to “usher in the magic of the season” will come to Springfield Symphony Hall this December.

The show is a “magical journey that will transport audiences to a magical land far away for a fun-filled, unforgettable holiday-themed show experience,” according to MGM Springfield in an new release announcing the event.

The show will feature circus performers such as acrobats and aerialists showcasing “spellbinding grace and daredevil athleticism,” along with “hilarious hijinks and holiday cheer,” all tied up in a “musical mix of timeless seasonal favorites,” according to MGM Springfield.

Tickets for the event — produced by TCG Entertainment — go on sale starting Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m. Eastern on MGM Springfield’s website. Those who are MGM Rewards members can get presale ticket access starting Thursday, July 20.

“Our holiday-themed Cirque Musica productions have quickly become a season tradition for families across the country and we are excited to continue this tradition with our ‘Holiday Wonderland,’” said Stephen Cook, the president of TCG Entertainment and producer of Cirque Musica, in a statement.

“We expect fans of cirque-shows to be enchanted with our latest production and hope it will create a wonderful memory for all to share,” Cook added.

Cirque Musica is “one of the top cirque-style shows in the industry,” according to MGM Springfield, adding it since its inception in 2010 its “world-renowned cast” has performed “feats of grace, skill, and strength” for audiences globally.

Other Cirque Musica productions include “Rhapsody,” “Crescendo,” “Heroes and Villains,” “Symphonic,” and now “Holiday Wonderland,” MGM Springfield stated.
